Sea cliff rescue: a woman saves herself

A young woman in a soaked white gown clings to a black basalt sea cliff while the North Atlantic breaks over her. She weeps and stops fighting. A second version of the same woman, in a long black coat, appears on the ledge above, grips her wrist, hauls her up and holds her. Both are one person: identical face and bone structure, no sisters, no lookalikes, no third woman.

The drenched version: wet black hair stuck flat to her face, strapless white top, heavy ivory chiffon skirt saturated with seawater, long white satin gloves, a thick gold chain bracelet, gold drop earrings. The calm version: dry and composed, black tailored coat cinched at the waist, black heels, dark hair blowing back, bare hands.
